Aurora Creative Arts

Aurora Creative Arts is a collective of over 120 artists and craftspersons in the north of England.

The Aurora website was an interesting project to do. This was for two main reasons - the first being the huge diversity of artists involved in the project, and the second being the requirements of the content management system required.

We needed a system that allowed each Aurora member to log in to their own micro-site and add content and images. Images are automatically resized and added to their gallery, and they also have the facility to add items to an online shop for sale to the public. All monies paid go direct to each members bank account without any intervention from Aurora Creative Arts.

In addition, nominated administrators can change content on the main website, add posts to the blog and send out email newlsetters to both members and web subscribers.
