Red Kite Village Store
After the post office was closed by Royal Mail the owners decided that they needed to do something fresh and exciting to attract new customers, so they re-launched as a delicatessen. The store now sells a selection of local produce, including beers, cheeses, ice-cream, breads and much, much more.
The name of the store comes from the Red Kites. These are magnificent birds that have been successfully re-introduced to the Derwent Valley, and are now quite an attraction. This obviously had to be a big part of the logo. The colours chosen were red (obviously!) and a vivid green, all on a white background. We wanted a very clean and modern design, something which gives an impression of freshness and quality.
Feedback from the store's customers has been very positive, and we're looking forward to continuing working with the owners and helping them develop their business.
