Retail Risk hold events all around the world (London, Leicester, Sydney, Melbourne, Cape Town, and Auckland, with more planned in the coming year. They needed a website that not only manages registrations but also sells the events to exhibitors and attracts delegates.
The most important aspect of the design and construction was to make it manageable and updatable by non-technical users. To do this we threw away page builders and utilised advanced custom fields (ACF), which power the site alongside 30+ custom code snippets.
The site can now be updated by anybody who can complete a web form. The design and layout is kept completely separate from the content, meaning that it's very difficult to 'break' anything.
